Equal1, a silicon-based quantum computing company, today announced the appointment of Declan O'Mahoney as Non-Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors as of June 1, 2021. Mr. O'Mahoney is founder and principal of Maywentee, which advises tech companies to grow and deliver shareholder value.

Mr. O'Mahoney brings extensive international experience in technology companies. He is entrepreneur in residence at the Tyndall National Institute and is board director, investor and/or advisor to several technology companies. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of HeartSine Inc. (2012-2016), which was acquired by Physio-Control, Inc. and subsequently by Stryker Corporation.
