Live from Dell Technology World 2026

May 18, 2026

We are live in Las Vegas at Dell Technologies World (DTW) 2026 where Equal1 CEO Jason Lynch will speak with Viby Jacob of Dell Technologies, Almog Reshef of NVIDIA and Dr. Seetharami Seelam of IBM Research at the “Quantum Made Practical” session.

The session will explore how quantum computing is moving from distant promise to practical reality, including real-world examples of quantum and hybrid quantum-classical solutions designed for enterprise adoption.

At this event, Equal1 is proud to stand alongside Dell Technologies at DTW to demonstrate a milestone in computational science: the global release of Equal1 RacQ.

For years, quantum computing has been seen as a "future" technology—powerful but trapped in specialized labs with massive infrastructure requirements. Today, we are changing that narrative. We aren't just talking about quantum; we are showing how HQCC could be deployed in a data center.

Bridging the Gap: The Equal1 RacQ

Inside Equal1 RacQ

Equal1 RacQ is the first-ever rack-mounted silicon quantum computer specifically engineered for high-performance computing (HPC) data centers. Unlike traditional systems that require massive footprints and complex setups, Equal1 RacQ is designed for real-world usability:

  • Seamless Integration: Equal1 RacQ integrates a silicon quantum computer with a classical Dell PowerEdge R770 and PowerSwitch networking environment, all within a standard data center rack design.
  • Standard Power: It plugs into a standard single-phase electrical socket, consuming only 1600W—comparable to a high-end classical server.
  • Advanced Cooling: It features an integrated, self-contained closed-cycle cryocooler that maintains an internal temperature of 0.3 Kelvin without external infrastructure.
  • Compact Footprint: Weighing 400 kg, the hybrid quantum classical compute device fits perfectly into a standard Dell VR3300 42U frame.

Real-World Hybrid Quantum-Classical Computing (HQCC)

The true power of Equal1 RacQ is unlocked through Hybrid Quantum-Classical Computing (HQCC). By integrating with Dell’s Quantum Intelligent Orchestrator (QIO), we are demonstrating how intensive subroutines can be offloaded to the quantum processor to accelerate complex tasks like optimization, simulation, and machine learning.

As Jason Lynch, CEO of Equal1, noted:

"For nearly every organization, quantum computing remains out of reach, confined to labs. We’re changing that. We are putting quantum inside the rack so customers can roll it in, plug it in, and begin running hybrid quantum–classical workloads in days, using the infrastructure they already own."
