Equal1, a leader in silicon-based quantum computing, showcased its RacQ quantum computer at partner Bull's corporate headquarters in Paris, demonstrating how quantum computing can be transported, installed and integrated into existing enterprise and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. The demonstration highlighted RacQ's integration with Bull's Qaptiva Access software, enabling hybrid quantum-classical computing within established HPC infrastructure.
RacQ's self-contained, rack-mounted design eliminates the need for specialized quantum computing facilities, offering a practical pathway to commercial quantum deployment.
Equal1 and Bull welcomed a visiting delegation from Saudi Arabia, including Muhammad Al-Saiyari, Fellow of the Quantum Economy Network, Chairman of the Saudi Quantum Computing Association and Head of Quantum Computing at Aramco, and Ali Shoker, Professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).The visit provided an opportunity to demonstrate the potential of deployable quantum computing and explore its role in Saudi Arabia's growing advanced computing ecosystem.
The collaboration between Equal1 and Bull reflects a shared commitment to bringing quantum computing into real-world HPC environments. By combining Equal1's silicon-based quantum hardware with Bull's HPC expertise and Qaptiva software, the companies are advancing the integration of quantum and classical computing.
