Equal1's RacQ Quantum Computer Makes European Debut at ISC High Performance 2026

June 20, 2026

Equal1, a leader in silicon-based quantum computing, marked a major milestone with the European debut of its RacQ quantum computer at ISC High Performance 2026 in Hamburg, Germany. Equal1 showcased how quantum computing can become a practical extension of existing high-performance computing (HPC) environments.

Showcased on the Bull and ICHEC stands, RacQ demonstrated Equal1's approach to making quantum computing deployable within standard data centre infrastructure. The world's first rack-mounted silicon quantum computer combines silicon-spin qubits, integrated classical computing and self-contained cryogenic technology in a compact, energy-efficient system.

A key focus of the event was Equal1's integration with Bull's Qaptiva platform, creating a pathway from quantum emulation and simulation to execution on quantum hardware within existing HPC environments.

Equal1 also presented to Bull's HPC, AI and Quantum teams, highlighting the growing convergence of these technologies and the role of hybrid quantum-classical computing in addressing increasingly complex computational challenges.

As demand for AI, simulation and optimization continues to grow, quantum computing is emerging as a complementary technology within the broader HPC ecosystem. Equal1 is bridging the gap between quantum research and practical deployment, bringing quantum capabilities closer to the infrastructure enterprises already use.
