Industry Leaders Join Flagship Scientific Advisory Board

Equal1, a silicon-based quantum computing company, today announces the formation of its new Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), comprised of industry leaders in quantum computing. The SAB will help the company shape its strategy and position the development roadmap toward the introduction of useful, cost-effective quantum computers.

Founding members of the Equal1 Scientific Advisory Board include:

Edoardo Charbon, Ph.D. — Full Professor and head of the Advanced Quantum Architectures laboratory at EPFL in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Previously with Cadence Design Systems and Chief Architect at Canesta Inc.

Andrew Mitchell, Ph.D. — Assistant Professor of Theoretical Physics at University College Dublin and Director of the UCD Centre for Quantum Engineering, Science, and Technology (C-QuEST).

Sean Mitchell — Co-founder of Movidius, a leading computer vision and AI company acquired by Intel in 2016. Seasoned veteran in the semiconductor industry.

Sorin P. Voinigescu, Ph.D. — Full Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Toronto and co-founder and CTO at Quake Technologies Inc.
