Equal1 is part of the consortium behind QUBIC, one of six groundbreaking projects selected for funding under DTIF Call 7, announced by the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment and the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

The €36.9 million investment supports transformative technologies across quantum, MedTech, and advanced manufacturing. QUBIC stands at the forefront of Ireland's quantum innovation ecosystem.

Through QUBIC, Equal1 and partners will advance quantum algorithms, hardware, and software to develop quantum-enabled solutions addressing Ireland's most pressing challenges in energy, climate modelling, advanced materials, and pharmaceuticals.

This collaboration includes Algorithmiq Computing Ltd, Biosimulytics Ltd, CeADAR, C-QuEST, Dell Technologies, Irish Manufacturing Research Centre (IMR), Nexalus Ltd, UCD Energy Institute, and UCD School of Computer Science.
